With the staggering growth of social media, there has been equal growth in the market for social media management tools and separating the good from the bad has cost me a ton of money and time. Although I know this list will change and evolve, here are the tools I am using today...
Streamline and automate your social media marketing
I used to recommend Hootsuite for managing your social media accounts and marketing but as Hootsuite grew so did the complexity. Sure it’s a great program for large companies to manage their social media campaigns but for the small guy it’s just too much and that’s why I was so excited when I discovered BufferApp.
BufferApp is a social media management tool that allows you to streamline and automate much of your social media marketing and the best part is they make it easy.
Do they have as many features as Hootsuite? No. But they do have all the important features an average small business needs… and you can be up and running in 15 minutes or less.
Free, easy to use with different share button styles
Social signals is playing a bigger and bigger role in search engine marketing and the best way to generate social signals is to make sure you make your content easy to share by including the infamous share buttons throughout your site. I can’t actually remember how many I’ve tested but Shareaholic is definitely one of my favorites. Not only is it free and easy to use, I am a big fan of the different share button styles they include.
